Drag pieces from the tray (the bar at the bottom) onto the 8×8 grid. When a row or column is completely filled, it clears and you earn points. You always have three pieces available in the tray — all three regenerate only once you've used them all. The game ends only when none of the three pieces can be placed on any free cell of the board.

You earn points for every cell placed. Clearing multiple rows and columns in a single move multiplies points exponentially: the formula is 80 × n^1.5, where n is the number of lines cleared. Consecutive streaks grant a +25% bonus. Clearing three lines at once is far more rewarding than clearing them one at a time.

Every time you clear at least one row or column in consecutive turns, your streak grows. The streak resets when you place a piece without clearing anything. From the third consecutive clearing turn the "ON FIRE! 🔥" notification appears and the streak bonus compounds progressively. Keeping a long streak is the key to the highest scores.

The game analyzes your last 6 moves in real time. If you're struggling (low clear rate), the system tends to generate smaller, easier-to-place pieces. If you're dominating (high clear rate), it gradually increases the challenge with larger, more complex pieces. The goal is to keep you in the optimal flow state: challenging enough to be engaging, but never frustrating.

No. Prism Blocks precisely checks every possible position for each of the three pieces in the tray. Game over triggers only when none of the three pieces can be placed on any free cell of the grid. There are no false game overs: if even a single move exists, the game continues.

It is not currently possible to reset the high score directly from the app. The record is stored locally on the device and synced with Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android). If you need help managing your score, contact us at support@ukkio.io.

Yes, Prism Blocks works fully offline. All gameplay, animations and music are built into the app. An internet connection is only needed to sync your score with global leaderboards via Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), and to load ads.
